Q Bee, a winning daughter of Quality Road in foal to Keen Ice, sold to Arif Kurtel for $57,000 to lead Saturday’s 11th of 12 sessions of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale.
Mill Ridge Sales, agent, consigned Q Bee, a 6-year-old mare whose dam is Kentucky Oaks (G1) winner Pike Place Dancer, by Seattle Dancer. She is from the family of Grade 2 winner Petitionville.
On Saturday, Keeneland sold 169 horses for $1,311,500, for an average of $7,760 and a median of $5,000.
Cumulatively, 2,543 horses have grossed $199,592,400, for an average of $78,487 and a median of $28,000.
Cromwell Bloodstock paid $34,000 for Saturday’s most expensive weanling, a colt by Midshipman consigned by Scott Mallory, agent. Out of Canigetayesma’am, a winning daughter of Salute the Sarge, he is from the family of Grade 3 winner Mintage (FR).
Taylor Made Sales Agency is the session’s leading consignor by selling 12 horses for $204,500.
The leading buyer is K.O.I.D., which paid $151,500 for eight horses.
