The PGA Tour returns to TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota, this week for the third running of the 3M Open. The field is fronted by betting favorite Dustin Johnson and is surprisingly strong following the 149th British Open. Below, we look at the fantasy golf power rankings and odds for the 2021 3M Open, with PGA Tour picks and predictions.
Johnson moved to No. 2 in the Golfweek/Sagarin ranking with a T-8 finish at the British Open last week. Three others who finished T-8 or better last week are in the field.
Michael Thompson returns to the 7,431-yard, par-71 TPC Twin Cities as the defending champion. Matthew Wolff, the inaugural 3M Open champion in 2019, is back for the third time.

20. Brendon Todd (+5500)
Missed the cut in three of his last four events, including the British Open, but leads the PGA Tour this season in driving accuracy.
19. Gary Woodland (+5500)
Also missed the cut in three of his last four events but has two top-10 finishes since early April against fields comparable to this week. His putting and short game have been holding him back, but the iron play has been strong.
18. Brian Stuard (+11000)
Third on Tour in driving accuracy and trending in the right direction with back-to-back top-15 finishes at the John Deere Classic (T-8) and Barbasol Championship (T-15).
17. Rickie Fowler (+5000)
Once ranked as high as No. 4 in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), he slipped outside the top 100 again after a T-53 finish at the British Open. It was his fourth made cut in his last five events as he has been playing his best golf of 2021.
16. Doug Ghim (+5000)
No. 71 in the Golfweek rankings after making three straight cuts, including a T-18 at the John Deere Classic two weeks ago. He leads the Tour in approaches from 175-200 yards through 82 rounds this season and that’s a key distance at TPC Twin Cities.

15. Luke List (+5500)
Back-to-back top-five finishes at the John Deere Classic (T-4) and Barbasol Championship (T-5) to bring his season total of top-10 finishes to four. He led last week’s Barbasol Championship field with 3.17 Strokes Gained: Tee-to-Green per round but again lost strokes putting.
14. Stewart Cink (+5500)
The former Champion Golfer of the Year opened the British Open with a 4-under 66 before a second round of plus-7 to miss the cut. He tied for 46th in this event last year with a strong 1.21 SG: Tee-to-Green per round.
13. Keegan Bradley (+3500)
Tied for 46th in 2019 with 1.00 SG: Putting per round but lost strokes on approach and from tee to green. He has been much better with the irons this season and is fourth on Tour in SG: Approach.
12. Sergio Garcia (+3000)
Four straight top-20 finishes internationally following a stretch of four straight missed cuts. Fourth among golfers with at least 11 measured rounds this season with 0.92 SG: Off-the-Tee per round.
11. Hank Lebioda (+4500)
Three straight top-10 finishes at the Travelers Championship (T-5), Rocket Mortgage Classic (T-4) and John Deere Classic (T-8). His putter and irons have been equally strong along the way as he has climbed to No. 81 in the Golfweek rankings.

10. Emiliano Grillo (+3300)
Tied for 12th at the British Open in his first made cut since a T-8 at the Charles Schwab Challenge. Tied for third in this event in 2020 while recording 2.11 SG: Tee-to-Green per round.
9. Bubba Watson (+3000)
Will tee it up for the first time since a T-6 finish at the Rocket Mortgage Classic after withdrawing from the British Open. He was second to Bradley among those who made the cut at Detroit Golf Club with 2.35 SG: Tee-to-Green per round.
8. Cameron Tringale (+3000)
Made the cut in both prior runnings of the 3M Open with a T-42 finish in 2019 and a T-3 in 2020. He was much improved with the putter in his most recent appearance and he’s averaging 0.50 SG: Putting this season.
7. Cameron Davis (+3500)
Tied for 55th at the John Deere Classic following victory at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Tied for 12th in this event last year after missing the cut in 2019.
6. Robert MacIntyre (+3500)
Gained a late entry to this event with a T-8 finish at the British Open. It extended his international streak of made cuts to eight straight, in addition to a T-9 finish at the WGC Match Play.
5. Matthew Wolff (+2800)
Has averaged 2.49 strokes gained on the field per round over eight rounds at TPC Twin Cities, including the win in 2019. His odds are relatively high due to his uncertain health status after withdrawing from the British Open.
4. Dustin Johnson (+750)
Back to No. 2 in the Golfweek rankings after a strong showing last week in his best major finish since winning the 2020 Masters last fall. He withdrew during last year’s 3M Open ahead of one of the best stretches of golf of his career.
3. Louis Oosthuizen (+1400)
Finished T-3 or better in each of the last three majors but has been much more average in non-majors this year. He hasn’t played this event before and the low odds seem to suggest some recency bias after the British Open.
2. Patrick Reed (+1800)
Missed the cut at Royal St. George’s last week but made his last four cuts in the U.S. He tied for 23rd at the 2019 3M Open with a rare poor putting performance.
1. Tony Finau (+1400)
Averaging 1.74 strokes gained on the field per round over eight rounds at TPC Twin Cities. He posted a T-3 finish last year while leading the field with 2.43 SG: Approach per round.
