With the 2021 NCAA Tournament bracket revealed, oddsmakers at BetMGM have Gonzaga as the favorite to win it all, with the Bulldogs edging Baylor for the top spot.
The two teams were even at +300 odds before the bracket reveal, but Gonzaga moved to +275 after landing as the top seed in the West Region, and Baylor moved to +350 as the top seed in the South. Fellow No. 1 seeds Michigan (East Region) and Illinois (Midwest) are each at +600, with the Illini leaping from +1000 in the final minutes of their Big Ten Tournament final victory over Ohio State.
The Buckeyes lead the next wave of contenders at +1400, narrowly ahead of Iowa (+1500), as four of the top six teams are from the Big Ten. Three teams are at +1600 — Oklahoma State, Florida State and Alabama — with Creighton, Houston, West Virginia and Texas each at +2000.
