The 2021 American Express is already at the halfway point, and if you wanted to stick around for the weekend in La Quinta, you needed to go low. Seventy-two players were 4-under or better through 36 holes, with the leader at a whopping 11-under. You can find full third round tee times at the bottom of this post.

Notable groupings for American Express Round 3

Sungjae Im leads the field by one shot at 11-under par after firing rounds of 68-65. Im is seeking his second career Tour win after claiming last year’s Honda Classic.

Right behind Im is a logjam of five players at 10 under par, including Canadian Nick Taylor, who is coming off a T11 finish at the Sony Open in Hawaii, Tony Finau, Abraham Ancer, Si Woo Kim and Brandon Hagy.

Im will tee off in Saturday’s final grouping alongside Taylor and Finau at 2:10 p.m. ET.
