The 20-cent Rainbow 6 will offer a guaranteed jackpot pool of $2.1 million Friday at Gulfstream Park.
The popular multi-race wager went unsolved for the 20th racing day in a row Thursday since being hit for a jackpot of $468,945 Feb. 27.
Multiple tickets with all six winners Thursday were each worth $6337.24.
The carryover jackpot is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
A mandatory payout of the Rainbow 6 has been scheduled for Saturday’s Florida Derby Day program. There will also be guaranteed pools for the Late Pick 4 ($500,000) and the Late Pick 5 ($400,000). All three multi-race wagers will be anchored by the $750,000 Curlin Florida Derby (G1).
